Welcome to a truly hidden place. A place to be inspired, reflect, recharge and reconnect; where you will feel 'at home' whether you're travelling on your own or with a party of friends. Welcome to Glenapp Castle.

The luxury, award-winning five star hotel in Ayrshire, Scotland, provides an intimate level of service with genuine attention to detail. It has great beauty in its period furnishings and interiors as well as through the breath-taking gardens, forest, and the seascapes that surround that castle.

Rooms

All of the public rooms at the castle are on the first floor. There are bedrooms on the ground, first and second floors. All of these are accessible by lift though some are more suitable than others for guests who have difficulty with stairs. The castle has good facilities and access for the disabled. Please ask at the time of reservation if you require these facilities.

There are seventeen guest rooms at Glenapp (20 as of 1st April 2017). All of these rooms are individually designed and lavishly furnished and equipped to the same high standard. They are priced according to their location in the building, their views and their floor area. Many of our rooms have superb sea views. Our ground floor rooms are beautiful rooms which face the garden and woodlands are generally priced less than our first and second floor rooms with a sea view.

The traditional rooms and suites are individually decorated and furnished with antiques. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi, TVs and DVD players; some have working fireplaces. Upgraded suites feature sea views and chandeliers.

Full Scottish breakfast is complimentary. The fine-dining restaurant serves a 3-course lunch, plus afternoon tea and a 6-course dinner. Activities include archery, croquet, tennis and mountain biking, and there are walking/hiking trails.
